Fall is here.

This last Sunday our family decided to spend the morning at Stocker Farms 'Pumpkin Festival' -- it was wonderful. We hammered nails into wood, pumped ducks down a river-in-a-gutter, caught trout to bring home, used our 'personal restroom' outside the minivan and picked the most beautiful of pumpkins - er, squash...

I love Fall.

Ahh...I love your pictures!! The one of the pumpkins would be a beautiful fall picture framed in a black frame!! Miss you friend!!

Onomatopoeia: a word that imitates the sound it represents.

WHAM! SPLASH! KERPLUNK!
Why not cut straight to the chase? Man I need less 'rabbit trails' and 'silver-linings'... I need more reality checks and the ability to adapt to that reality. I need to be able to look at myself, smile and think 'it could be worse.' Don't waste my time on telling me how beautiful it was to nurse my children when you're trying to talk about saggy boobs... don't talk to me about how my tiny body held an entire baby when you're talking about my now raisinesque belly... lets just tell it how it is.

Onomatopoeia always sounded to me like iwannagoapeea... and it made me laugh that the actual definition was 'a word that imitates the sound it represents'... my title is a little crass and unclassy - an accurate first impression, I think.
